Denver International Wine Competition Announces 2017 Winners
Double-blind competition draws hundreds of international and domestic entries!
DENVER, Colorado – August 7, 2017
The Denver International Wine Competition has been influencing thousands of wine brands annually since 2006. The double-blind competition is judged by a distinguished panel of Colorado-based and national wine judges (consisting of sommeliers, F&B managers and certified wine judges. Broomfield-based Wine Country Network, Inc., a multi-platform media and event company focused on wine, beer and spirits organizes the competition.
This year’s Best of Show winners (top-scored wines) include:
Best Of Show White: 2015 Slopes Furmint Dry Wine from Tokaj, Hungary
Best of Show Red (Tie): 2015 TerraMater Magna Limited Reserve Carmenere, Chile
Best of Show Red (Tie): 2011 Page Cellars Preface Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Mountain, WA

Best Of Show, Double Gold and Gold winning wines will be showcased at The Pairsine Chefs Fine Food and Wine Pairing Competition on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the Denver International Wine Festival.
